My husband and I live on a 55 acre farm.
Anyone who knows me knows that doesn’t make any sense.
My husband, Mike, and I live in Branchburg, New Jersey.
One thing most everyone I know can agree on: Life goes far too quickly. I’m still that 7th grade girl trying desperately to fit into a new school, and that starry eyed 18 year old my first day on campus at Susquehanna University. I’m an exuberant bride, longing to dance her first dance with her new husband, and I’m that terrified first time mom hopelessly fumbling with her newborn’s first diaper change. Yet, before I knew it, I’ve reached an age where I most likely won’t outlive my mortgage, my knees make horrifying noises as I climb the stairs, and I have stylish reading glasses on every end table in my house. And no matter how wonderful a ride it’s been so far, to me, it feels like I just bought the car. This blog is my feeble attempt to at least try to harness time, by keeping a record of my thoughts and feelings so that as I read it again, I see glimpses of my life with my kids, my husband and our friends. If I can make it feel like I’ve managed to slow time, even just for my mind and heart to catch up, it will all be worth it. Thanks for joining me.
